I apologize if I've already asked about this and don't remember, but I think this would be the sort of place to ask this question.
Have any of you seen both the original Forbrydelsen (Danish/BBC) and the US remake, The Killing?
My wife is a fan of The Killing, and I've thought of buying the BBC version (we have a very fancy all-region blu-ray/DVD player, so that's not an issue). She sometimes hints that she'd like to see the original.
However, I don't know that she is really set on it, so I thought I'd poke around and ask. I've heard mixed things about the original version. I'll probably end up buying it either way, but if someone has strong opinions it might be enough to sway me one way or another.
