New Hat
New Hat
I am not a fedora guy. That being said I do like driver's caps. Just ordered a Kangol Wool 507 in Dark Flannel. Can't wait for it to come in later this week.
I'm not seeing any ear flaps --- does the cap itself extend down far enough on the sides of the head to cover the ears?

Driver's caps are indeed great -- probably my favourite.
I particularly like the Tilley Ivey Cap. Ear flaps included .....
Ear flaps, hockey. In Alabama? At least you didn't spring for the ear flaps!
We're getting snow again in Massachusetts, and about this time I start getting sunbelt envy...

PS--Would like to see a photo of your new cap in action. I have two Kangols, one navy and one camel.

Fiat lux, et facta est lux. Que la lumière soit, et la lumière fut. Let there be light, and there was light.
Nice one. The tweed pattern really makes it. My Kangols are more like solid flannel, almost like a beret.
I wore it once to work, reversed, and asked a female co-worker her opinion.
"Nice" she said. Then I changed it to the normal position and she said: "Grandpa in the house!"
Unfortunately I don't have the courage to wear mine in the "cool" position, at least outside the house.

PS--Checked my map and now see that Decatur is in Northern Alabama! With the Stanley Cup won by Tampa a few years ago, I guess I shouldn't be surprised at the widespread popularity of hockey. A Rangers fan, eh?

That is actually my coaches shirt. We had team pictures yesterday for my son's baseball team. We are the Rangers this season.GregPQ wrote:PS--Checked my map and now see that Decatur is in Northern Alabama! Speaking of ice hockey...
My son plays on two teams. He is on a 9 & 10 year old team (Squirt) and an 11 & 12 year old team (Pee Wee).
They just had their year end tournaments and won them both.
Two championships...in 5 days.
Pee Wee on Sunday (That is me on the far left with the gray jacket)
Squirt last night (Thursday)
