Spring Flowers

Post by churchilllafemme »

My wife and I went for a stroll today in the Seattle Arboretum. We were a little too early in the season for some of the blooms, but there still were some very pretty flowers out in the sunlight.

Have an apple tree in my back yard. Blossoms are just beautiful the last couple days. So nice to lift the blind in the bathroom and look out the window to see the blossoms as I let the tap water warm for my shave. Makes shaving these last couple days all the more enjoyable.

We've been having an unusually cool and damp spring here, and our spring blossoms are really enjoying it. The blooms have lasted much longer than usual. I remember a trip to the Pacific Northwest several years ago and how vivid the flowers were. The normal summer heat here usually burns out our flowers pretty quickly.
