Blast from the Past
de gustibus non est disputandum
Re: Blast from the Past
As I looked at the photos it was hard not to create my own back story for the place - very interesting. It must be very remote to remain that undisturbed, unless someone is protecting it like the Paiute do with the Anasazi remains - never know when they'll come back.
(Also, one of the captions has a typo I do very often - "A colleciton of reading glasses. . .")

Give us the luxuries, and we will forgo the necessities.

All labels and watch faces facing the correct perspective, spaced equidistant from one another; clothing neatly draped; it's all staged. The narrative repeated the phrase "covered in dust" much too frequently, as if they think it proves the passage of time. They did a passable job of faking dust everywhere. I am not buying it.

Yes Clive, thanks for catching this one. If it turns out to be authentic it raises a lot of questions.

Interesting story -- I liked the tweed jacket hanging in the 4th photo. Staged or not, I found it intriguing, and would love the opportunity to clean that place out and do a full-on restoration, including the addition of an Aga range.

Clive, thanks that was an interesting read.
I'm with Brother's though, something just isn't right here. It seems more contrived than actual.
