My son needs a new bat, he said said this one is the best on the market. Any comments? Its a little out of my price range

Put him in soccer or basketball? You only need a good pair of shoes then....... :wink:

I am so uneducated on being a baseball dad -- you have to buy his own bat? All I needed when I played peewee ball was a glove and shoes ... most kids I played with wore runners even .... And that was in a league.

That's not a bad bat. The kids go through them so quickly, it's best to try and get them used. They are going to get more expensive too. The last bat I bought was about 300. My son played travel ball and I donated most of his old bats for kids who couldn't afford 'em. Good luck!
