A very merry Christmas to all my friends here at SMF. Now that I've got a few minutes of downtime, with the younger son conked out on my chest, I can appreciate that it's been a wonderful day so far. It seems more than a bit interesting to have started the day with an Indian priest celebrating Catholic Mass in Southern state for a white parish. The mysterious man in the back who stayed deep in prayer throughout without ever entering the sanctuary was particularly kind at the exchange of the Sign of Peace. And although I despise saxophones in church even my Scrooge self was moved by the ensemble's heartfelt performance.
OK, on to the second half of another marathon holiday.
