Five minutes

Post by Squire »

I just spent five minutes watching the kittens chase each other around thinking kittens are so easily amused . . then realized I'd just spent five minutes . . .

This is like watching the granddaughters ice skate at Christmastime. The time passes quickly.

Also reminds me of a good friend who is 93 years old. He says "talk fast, my time is at a premium, I don't have much left." Humor is where you find it.

I'd bet the kittens probably made you smile too. My old cat makes me smile and even laugh every day. He's a good companion. My old buddy.

Squire, don't ever Google "cute kitten videos." We'd never see you here again.

Five quiet minutes in a comfortable chair - or even almost comfortable - and I'm out like a light.

Can't get 'em to pose. They only have two speeds, full throttle or dead asleep.

Sounds like you're describing a two-year-old human.

Just an update, the furry children are having their moments. Tommy has discovered a magazine corner sticking out of the stack makes a great noise when you bat it back and forth, Jennifer is watching Tommy wishing she'd thought of that, Crystal is fighting Timmy over who gets to pull on the blinds drawstring and Mr. Freckles is balled up between my feet on the footstool having claimed that as his new favorite spot. Momma cat is wishing the kids would go back to sleep. Normal day.

Squire
