Gonna be gone for about a week - Honeymooning

Gonna be gone for about a week - Honeymooning

Post by Sam »

Gentlemen, I was blessed to exchange vows yesterday (4-17-16) with my beloved. Heading off on Thursday for 6 days to Costa Rica. I have always talked about going and for me, this is more of one of those -i'll never-get-around-to-it but if-I-ever get-the-chance-and can-save-up-enough-nickels honeymoons. Gonna zip-line, go to the jungle, party with monkeys, go to a volcano, just hike and see nature and people. Great thing is that my bride is cut from that, though she may not want to jump off a waterfall or go skydiving like I want to. I'm still pinching myself and well, finding love again at 56, well, let me say that those
that do things instead of talking about it and justifying why we can't, I respect you doers so much. Life happens while you least expect it, and I am learning to embrace change.

Congrats. Proves that it is never too late to fall in love. I have done it a few times but I make a poor husband. Personally sticking to just friendships going forward but I will raise a glass to you and your bride momentarily.

Careful partying with those monkeys, Sam. They're big drinkers. Congratulations!

What happened to my post? Maybe I didn't post it?

Anyway, it was full of good wishes. I'll raise a glass tonight. Congrat's.

Mike, Crown Royal was an experiment. I far prefer Scotch or bourbon either neat or with a splash of water; never any ice. My prostate can't handle beer anymore. I think its the hops it objects to. You know how after a few you need to pee? I need to and can't. That's scary. I love beer. I just don't dare drink it.

I hope Sam's on a beach right now and this thread is the furthest thing from his mind. Whoops! At this time I hope he's inside and his mind is preoccupied with other thoughts.
