I find it doesn't quite match the napoletana for flavour - not quite so rich, yet a tendency to bitter. I believe the fact it takes longer for the water to pour through it is responsible. But it's good enough that if I need more than two mugs making at once it will be the method I use. In other news I managed to clean and fix the Saeco Vienna Plus so it has been granted a stay of execution. It also makes coffee that I used to think perfect, but now seems a bit weak after the napoletana. It is however, extremely convenient.
