Gwen Ifill died today

Co-anchor of PBS Newshour and outstanding journalist died today from cancer at the tender age of 61. She was one of the most intellectually honest, rigorous, clear thinking and human journalist in the media today. She will be greatly missed.

That comes as a total shock! I had no idea that she was fighting this battle and it is definitely news I wasn't expecting. PBS is my main source of news. I'll miss her.
