I caught a snippet of a conversation a couple of days ago regarding something John Donne had written, so I pursued it today and found it: Death be not proud.
The overheard phrase that initially got my attention was this: . . . . One short sleep past, we wake eternally and death shall be no more; Death, thou shalt die.
This was time well spent. I should do that more often.

Re: Read poetry today
John Donne is my favourite Metaphysical poet. I first came across his poetry in secondary school when I was sixteen and I've liked his work every since.
