Does anyone wear briefs anymore...

Feel free to post anything unrelated to wet shaving or men's grooming (I.e. cars, watches, pens, leather goods. You know, the finer things of life).

Does anyone wear briefs anymore...

Post by JayTrek »

I am beginning to think I am the last holdout. I go to a shop and look for SAXX or Tommy John. The retails now carry boxer briefs only.

Jason

It's getting tougher to find 100% cotton boxers. Now they add some kind of spandex to make them stretchy...........

I just wear boxers. Before that, years ago, I wore briefs. I have never understood the appeal of boxer briefs.

I'm not sure I want to visualise you gents in your underwear over breakfast. On further thought - I lie. I'm quite sure about it

Having reached the age where I look ridiculous (if not actually disturbing) in any form of underwear I shall have to do the logical thing and go 'commando'! There! Now I spoiled your appetites!

I wear briefs and found some that I really like a few years ago from Jockey. They are cotton with a little Spandex or something in them. I really like the fit. Alas, they no longer make them. All cotton sags a little to much for me, just doesn’t have the spring to it that the blend does. Other models are just too brief as they are too short-waisted. I haven’t tried the boxer briefs, but I really need to find an alternative as my current supply is aging fast.

Most assuredly! I wear only Jockey Y Fronts, 100% cotton, and white. I’ve worn them for years and have no inclination to try anything else. I do, however, wear one size larger than my trouser size, i.e. 36 vs 34, to avoid any binding.

Yep, I hate tight underwear. They have to be 'breathable', comfortable and 100% cotton.
Like the good Doctor says, at our age it's more about comfort than trying to look like an 18 year old with speedos.

I purchased a package of the "Y-Fronts" On Wednesday night. So far so good. I am very particular about the veracity of the elastic around the legs. I need containment and support.

I tried the Hanes X-Temp recently...they did not meet the standard.

Should have known to expect that from something I bought at Wal-Wart.

Just like a railway bridge.

I'm not sure whether I ought to commiserate or congratulate you. All the same, I really should stop reading this thread, as I'm not enjoying the imagery at all. Carry on, briefly. Or, to be continued shortly - it's all the same to me.
