fed ex ground and kinkos

Post by Sam »

you might have read my thread on the oakley sunglasses breaking. well, my maui jim titanium glasses have cracks by the screws on the lenses near the nosepiece. i shipped both pairs back to the respective manufacturer. i was gonna go the post office route, but decided to try kinkos and use fed ex ground. very good experience. they gave me a bubble wrap mailer, wrapped the glasses in bubble wrap and sent them via fed ex ground, which is four days to california and 3 days to illinois. good thing is that they are automatically insured for up to $100 no extra charge and they have free tracking. so the $1.30 insurance at the post office and 55 cents delivery confirmation, add up. both packages were $8.34 to ship. very competitive with the post office
