SPEEDLATHER!

Post by mantic »

I decided to experiment with making a lather very quickly.

I took a brush...

...and drilled a hole in the handle, slightly off center.

Then I inserted a wood screw into the hole, with about an inch or so protruding, connected it to my cordless drill, and put a dollop of cream into my cup. Then...SPEEDLATHER!

After about 5 seconds I had volumous, thick lather!

Maybe one of these days I'll get courageous and move on to the next stage...application to the beard!

Mark,

I think you need a hobby! Oh, wait, you have one! Very intersting, and thanks for sharing!

mark: that is too funny. but hey, this is why SMF is a great bunch of guys. i mean, joel started this hot pot thing and without investing in a lather king for like $170, i can have hot lather on my face for multiple passes. sundays nites, taking a 20 or 30 minute straight razor shave. wow that is the life

thanks

So, I guess you do that every morning! Have you tried an egg beater?

LOL!

You may have created a new method of shaving!

Power Tool Shaving aka PTS.

I think I might try attaching some Merkur Super Platinums to my electric hedge trimmer and see how close of a shave I can get.
