First we went to a place where nature takes back. It may not be obvious, but in some photographs the trees literally grow on rocks.
Then we went to a very, very small village nearby:
Finally, yesterday, we went visiting the ruins of an old castle. The atheist I am may now believe God exists. I also got fed up with hdr and did not use it for the following series of photographs:
The same with washed-out colours:
Just gorgeous, and scary at the same time
I wouldn't go there at night

Hey Clive, thank you. I’m fine and I’m glad to see the usual suspects are still haunting SMF.
Ian, thank you very much. In the last batch of photographs I have posted, only the second one is a HDR. I used it so the old stones and the sky could be visible. For those interested, here are two of the shots I used for it:
And I just used a ND filter for the sea.

Yukio,
I just showed my wife your wonderful photos and all she could do was just gasp. She and I are in awe of your pictures. They take us away to beautiful places and make us smile. Thank you so much for sharing them with us.

Danny, I’m glad you and your wife appreciate the photographs and I thank you for the compliments. I’ll continue posting them here.
(Would a moderator be kind enough to edit Rafikz’s post and remove his quoting my photographs?)
I took my car this morning with no map, no directions and I drove for 12 hours, occasionally stopping by to snap what I liked. I was totally stunned by the variety of landscapes I could see today.

Hey Clive, thank you. You know, this is the least populated part of France. I would have to spend hours to get to see hotties there (note that I could easily find girls who were hotties in 1950).
Hey Wendell, thank you. You know, this is the least populated part of France. I would have to spend hours to get to see cars on those switchbacks.

Yukio,
Again...WOW!! Thanks for sharing, my friend. My wife and I want to come live with you: Everyplace you photograph is magical.
BTW, what is the name of the town with all the blue roofs? It looked very cozy.
