AD Alive & Well

Post by StraightRazorRookie »

SWMBO and I went on a road trip to SoDak in late June/ early July. She was feeling a little unAmerican, as she'd never seen Mt. Rushmore.

a' course, we had to stop at the Corn Palace in Mitchell too. Well, just down the street from the Palace is an antique store...

Then a little farther on down the road, on the west bank of the Missouri to be exact, is a HUGE antique mall.

The mug is really cool, isn't it?

Here's the other deal - if you're into straight razor restoration, there's a significant portion of the entire free world's supply of old cutthroats in the antiques stores of SoDak. I saw dozens and dozens... and dozens.

I haven't jumped off that particular cliff yet, but when I do, I know where I'm headin'...
