We just got back from 2 and a half weeks in Ocean Park - where we have been going for 20 years. It's our little piece of heaven on earth. The waves due to the hurricane season were enormous this - for Maine, that is - and we saw successful surfers out every morning and evening.

In case you can't pull up the exif info from the picture -- my shots were all taken with an Olympus e-620 with 14-42 or 40-150 lens.

I also have a flickr site you are welcome to scan through. Shots with either a Canon G3 or the Oly.

Great shot Greg!.

Surfing in Maine?, BRRR, the one and only time I tried to go swimming in Maine, I got as deep as my ankles which promptly turned blue.

Portland Head at Cape Elizabeth is the most photographed US lighthouse. It has a great storied history - and is the topic of Longfellow's poem The Lighthouse - a true classic in American literature.

I have taken more pictures of this place than I can recall -- and each and every year we go back, I take more. We've been going for 20 years now and I still love adding to my collection of shots.

I always wonder how one would tell. It is said the most photographed place in Nova Scotia is the Peggy's Cove lighthouse, but even better was the story that a wrecked old farmhouse on Nuttby Mountain was the second most photographed site in Nova Scotia. How does one know? Anyway, I took a pic as it is close to Tatamagouche:
