My New Photo Gadgets

Post by jww »

For Christmas, knowing that I am a total gadget geek, my oldest son and his girlfriend got me these two lens adapters for my blackberry. I just did some testing with them, and they actually work pretty good. Pics posted to give you a sense of what these do.

And yes -- I do actually have my very own Cool Wall.

Original picture -- OK, so I didn't let the camera focus first -- I was in a rush to do some comparison shooting.

180° fisheye -- great field of view.

Wide angle.

Macro - that's right, I pushed my face right up to the wall to get this --- actually quite interesting results.

I might have to order a set for my phone. Thanks for sharing!

They are quite fun -- the most use I get out of my camera phone, frankly, is at work -- where I use it to take shots of white boards when we have brainstormed through something. It's much quicker than copying down what we doodled, and easier to remember as well. :D
