Leica M9
Re: Leica M9
I really like that photo of the Triffids. Their placement high in the frame, and with such symmetry, made for a masterful composition.

No film for me today - too late to be able to develop one, so out came the M9 and Elmarit 24mm.

It took a good eye to recognize and execute a subtle composition like that.

The photographer might be humble and praise his equipment, but the finished product doesn't disguise the fact there is an artist behind the work.

+1. Cameras don't take picturs, people do. Nice as always.brothers wrote:The photographer might be humble and praise his equipment, but the finished product doesn't disguise the fact there is an artist behind the work.

Were those today (Oct 21, 2014), Chris? Nice weather -- it's crappy here in Ottawa, and has been for a few days now. I think it's making its way towards your neck of the woods. And that's one nice neck you are living in, lemme tell ya.

Trafalgar Day is just as good a day as any to take pics, as far as I am concerned --- especially with such great landscape and lighting .....drmoss_ca wrote:Yep, Trafalgar Day. And yes, I am very lucky to live where I do.

Unbelievably good -- well done given the lighting conditions ..... I personally like these results almost as much as I like your sunny sky shots.
