last Saturday I went to Yoshida-cho in the city of Yokohama for a killer block party complete with bands and dancers. Here are some of the sights from the day.
It was a great party!

Mike, Yoshida-cho looks like it can handle its liquor and pole dancers. Probably safer there, too, in comparison to downtown Santa Monica. Nice photos, as usual.

You made me realize that around here, if there was a street party going on, with music and corn dogs and such, the farthest thing from anyone's mind would be --- pole dancing??? This is a great example of contrast in social expectations.
