First film in months

Post by drmoss_ca »

Too many things going on to spend much quality time in the darkroom, but I managed to finish off this film and develop and scan it yesterday:

I've sold off a lot of cameras and lenses. Down to an F6 for 35mm, and a 500c/m for 120. Still need to move some older 35mm SLRs (Pentax and Olympus) and a 4x5 view camera.

No digital for me, unless simply functional, Clive. I use my iPhone X sometimes out of convenience, and for wildlife I will use the Olympus OM-D E-M5 with a long lens. I've sold the Nikon D810, Leica Monochrom and Leica M9. Digital is easy and convenient. But it doesn't satisfy the hunger to make an image that makes me feel like I created something.

thanks. i was listening to a podcast the morning this thread was started and the fuji camera came up in conversation as a great starter camera....lots of manual controls etc etc. It piqued my interest.
