I took the liberty of collating your clips into one video file. Its total size is 4.37mb, as opposed to 21.5mb for the clips (Windows>programs>accessories>windows movie maker).

Joel,

Thank you very, VERY much. I now have the confidence to tackle a DE! All your work and everything you put into the site to teach wetshavers is very much appreciated!

Thanks again!

Joel,

Wow! I just found this video, and it's remarkably similar to what I did my second morning. I love the steadiness and fluidity you show while moving the razor--I will strive for that.

Many thanks! If a picture is worth a thousand words, then 30 frames a second teaches a hell of a lot!

Since it was Joel's video, you can probably find it at badgerand blade.com.

Why *did* this Joel person disappear from this forum? Or is that a question I'm not supposed to ask? When I first got on this forum and searched old posts, I found many old threads starting with something like "Great pictures, Joel!" or "Great review, Joel!" Except that the pictures and the reviews aren't there, which is kind of annoying...

I understand that it can be annoying. When Joel decided to leave, he requested for all of his posts to be removed. Simple as that.

It's no secret. You can see it all at his own site, badgerandblade.com.
