Richard, as we say in our culture, may you and your wife have 120 years of good health and happiness, and may you both have many children! Enjoy your vacation! :) :)

Friday:

Omega brush
Dovo straight razor
Palmolive shave stick
St-Ives Intensive Relief moisturizer
Yves Saint-Laurent Pour Homme edt

I'd almost forgotten how good these Palmolive sticks are! :D :D

Jeff, who's culture, is our culture? That 120 year thing is a new one on me... not that I don't like it :D

First, business:

- Merkur HD w/old Feather blade
- Target/Proraso boar brush
- Proraso shaving cream

Wow, I've never used Proraso shaving cream before -- I love it! It was like an Altoid for my face! (Which is actually a good thing: before I started using those steroids up my nose, I used to chew five or six Altoids to help relieve congestion.) I got a very smooth, close shave, without any irritation whatsoever.

The cooling effect after a moment's pause -- the "wait two minutes" mentioned on the packaging -- was very noticeable, but not at all unpleasant. There's no scent after rinsing it off. I also bought some AS yesterday but didn't much care for it. Does its scent fade at all?

- Will
P.S. Richard, warm congratulations and good luck to the whole family!

Richard: Congrats and may your wife's pregancy go well and a fine baby result. I love to explore the areas I go to, and we do a lot of shopping and asking for the best local place to dine.

Two days combined. Each day using a Edwin Jagger HD with Derby blade and using for touchup a Merkur slant bar with Feather blade. Face prep after the shave is Thayers witch hazel with lemon followed by Natureade80 aloe gel and 30 minutes later, coral skin food.

Thursday:

Sabini's Finest (super) brush
Castle Forbes lime shaving cream
Cologne: Villoresi Yerbamate

Friday:

Plisson Size 12 black badger brush
Trumpers Violet cream
Cologne: Serge Lutens Fumerie Turque

Now I really need to ask myself why is it that the thing that sruck me as neat was that the soap is in a Gerber container.

Friday:

Gillette '58 TV Superspeed / Gillette "Swede"
Taylor's Eton College Shave Cream
Clinique Post-Shave Healer
Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet Aftershave

A glorious Autumn day in Pittsburgh. It was 33 degrees when I awoke, and still in the (high) thirties when I finally emerged from my burrow. The Blenheim Bouquet seemed like the perfect accompaniment to the Fall air, and it is.

I'm heading to an Oktoberfest this weekend. I hope the rest of you lads have something equally fun planned. Have a good one.

Wow, you are either a giant or increadibly small. I don't know which yet. Can you convert that to hands?

Congrads on the baby. Don't forget to get some sleep on that vacation. You may need to store some up before things get really rolling!

Yep, it's a gerber container. The shave cream happens to be a beta cream that Sue is working on. It's actually a very nice cream.

Hello All,

Well, Arko cream week is over. Last Sunday, I started with Moist, then proceeded for the rest of the week with Cool, Citrus, Regular, Commando and Sensitive.

And the winner is: Citrus!

Image

To me, it has the best scent, which lingers nicely in the bathroom after the shave. Even my wife commented on how nice it smelled. And it has excellent lube like all the Arko creams.

Next week is Taylor's Week!

Cheers,
Richard

Living as a newlywed couple in our first home, you get used to having lots of leisure time and coming and going as you please. There is going to be some adjustment! Ahh well, if you wait it doesn't get easier as you get older.
