bernards66 wrote:Mahesh, I daren't. Not with that Rooney White brush. It was nice to reacquint myself with the Trumper's Violet though. It's been awhile since I'd use any, and it is a genuine 'classic' of high end traditional shave products. Glad you noticed.

Gordon
The same shave cream 2 days running? It's got to be special, and the Viloet is. Hope you're well.

In solidarity with Scott, I too decided to make it a Geo. Trumper day.
Sunday:
Trumper's Lemon Shampoo
Trumper's DE razor & Israeli Personna blade
Plisson Euro White # 14
Trumper's Almond hard shave soap
D R Harris's A/S Milk ( original ) ( my apologies, but Skin Food just doesn't work well for me )
Trumper's Eau de Portugal

Note: Trumper's Almond soap was, for several years, my daily shaving product ( well, that and their Limes ), but I haven't used it in years. I was struck by what an old fashioned, essentially floral, fragrance it really has. This would have to be lumped in with their Rose and Violet as floral scented shave shave soaps. And, when did it become pink? I distinctly remember it as being a cream or light beige color.
Regards,
Gordon

Sunday
Hot Shower No Scrub

Shavemac Silvertip
C&E Sweet Almond Oil Cream
Gillette Slim Adjustable
Derby 1st shave
3 Pass 5,5,7.

Neutrogena Razor Defense ASB

This was one of the new Derby blades. There was some speculation as to weather the new seller was selling genuine Derby blades. I can say that my first shave was just as good as all the other Derbys I have used in the past. So I would say they are the real deal. Order up and get the bonus 20% through October.

Sunday:

Gillette '58 TV Superspeed / Gillette "Swede"
Charles Tyrwhitt Lemon & Cedar Shave Cream
Old Spice Aftershave

Saw the Old Spice on the shelf and decided to give it a go. I do like the smell, and the aftershave strength is just right for me.
