Saturday 10/21;

Simpson Tulip #3 Super
Salter Mint
Moss Scuttle
Merkur Progress
Feather Blade (4th shave)
Nancy Boy AS Gel
Taylor's Mr. Sydney Cologne

First time I've used the Progress in quite a while. I used to like the fact that the blade exposure is slightly different on each side. Now it is just annoying.

Saturday:

Coates Sandalwood Cream
C&E Jagger Best Badger
Feather Artist Club DX
Merkur Progress w/ Feather (for touchup)
Nivea Extra Soothing ASB
Taylor Sandalwood Cologne

First time out with the Feather AC. Two passes over my entire face with decent results and no nicks. Did some touchup with the Progress on my upper lip and neck; I imagine as my AC technique improves I'll be able to rely more entirely on the straight.

First use of the Taylor Sandalwood, too. I like this one; the sandalwood is discreet, and the other botannicals keep it clean and light. There's something vaguely "grandpa" about it, in a Trumper's Spanish Leather sort of way, but it's a classic gentleman's cologne.

Saturday:
- Merkur HD w/Feather
- Body Shop shaving cream

That Body Shop cream smells. It shaves OK, and luckily the scent doesn't last, but when it comes out of the sample pot it's just....weird. *shiver* I can't identify what it reminds me of but I was vaguely disquieted all morning.

Tomorrow it's back to J.M. Fraser's for a week in honor of rustyblade Richard's expected return.

I find the Body Shop cream stinks, literally stinks. Yet, the lather and the skincare you get from it are fabulous.

So, Brett, you're into the Taylor Mr. Sidney's cologne, eh? That's a pretty obscure one. Good for you.

Mahesh, I daren't. Not with that Rooney White brush. It was nice to reacquint myself with the Trumper's Violet though. It's been awhile since I'd use any, and it is a genuine 'classic' of high end traditional shave products. Glad you noticed.

Larry and I are starting a new trend: posting about shaves that haven't happened yet. I won't be shaving until I get back from my baseball game about six or seven hours from now but when I do this is what it will be;

Simpson Tulip #3 Super
Coates Almond - last serving out of the tube :-(
Moss Scuttle
Merkur Futur
Feather blade
Nancy Boy AS Gel
Dominca Bay Rum
