So, Gordon, this is what you call "hoarding"? On your very next shave, you went right for the Coate's Rose! Tsk, tsk. This will never do. Better to send those Coate's creams to me for safekeeping. That way, you'll not be tempted again. Yes, I think that is probably best. No need to thank me.

Bob, It's all Michael's fault, I tell you! It was he that started babbling about Coate's Rose, and tempted me to use it.....dared me, almost, I would say! Yes! That's it! He dared me! ( in so many words )....sigh. But I won't fall for it again. No sir! That little tube of Rose cream is back, zipped up in my travel bag, where it shall remain until our Xmas trip. You'll notice that I'm falling back on the old version Taylor Almond, even though I've got half a pot of the Coate's left? Yes, I'll be alright now, I think, but thanks for your kind offer.
Regards,
Gordon

Sunday,

Shavemaster V200
Mitchell's Wool Fat
Euro Gillette blade
Gillette NEW razor
Nancy Boy A/S gel
Dominica Bay Rum

This shave will actually take place later this afternoon. So far my attempts at peaked Wool Fat lather have failed. Today I break out the big guns. Doesn't really matter as it still shaves great.

Stan, I noticed that after I printed the photo. I usually clean them up every two weeks or so. I guess I missed this one.

Sunday:

Gillette '58 TV Superspeed / Wilkinson blade
Taylor's Rose Shave Cream
Alum block
Thayer's Rose Witch Hazel
Caswell-Massey Number Six Aftershave Balm

Very unsatisfactory. I was finishing up a pot of Taylor's Rose, and left too much water in my brush when I started lathering. There was no more rose cream to thicken it up, so I was left with a soupy lather. My razor was skipping through all three passes. Still, I came out of it nick-free and with a close shave. Next time, I'll take the ten-step walk to the "shaving vault" and open up a new pot. Laziness kills.

Sunday
Hot Shower No Scrub

Shavemac 23mm Silvertip
Trumpers Almond
Ranger Tech
Isreali Persona 2nd shave
3 Pass

Neutrogena Razor Defense ASB

Great shave as expected and delivered! The Ranger Tech is my favorite fixed head razor hands down and today was great. I love the Almond by Trumpers, it has that Amaretto scent to it that makes me want to make Amaretto cheesecake! The IPs work great in the Ranger and finished off with my go to Neutrgena Razor Defense ASB. It moisturizes and dries non greasy, no scent so you can either put cologne on or go scentless and not over power.

Bob, Yes, laziness is a sin for the serious shavegeek. I had a similiar problem today, but, energy and determination salvaged the shave! ( see below ).
Sunday:

Gillette TV Superspeed & Swedish Gillette ( a full week's shave from this blade; it's the only one that I can comfortably get that out of )
Simpson Tulip #3
T&H Classic shaving soap ( with a dab of Coate's Lavender cream, as the soap is almost used up ).
D R Harris's shave stick
D R Harris's A/S Milk
Trumper's Wild Fern

Sunday:

Aveda Rosemary Mint Shave Gel
Merkur HD with Feather blade
Sharps Kid Glove Aftershave Gel

I got to sleep in today, which meant less time for shaving. So, I broke out the shave gel that JFrancisco sent me. Really nice and easy to shave with. The mint made my face all tingly. I will definitely consider this for my travel kit when I don't want to pack a brush. The Feather blade made for a nice shave again today, with no nicks this time.
