You notice all...

There was blood, alright, but just a little. Third, against the grain pass and the curve of chin, one minor nick. I was careless with the stroke and angle. One nick is one too many. Lesson learned, I hope.

So no horror-story here

Hello All,

End of the Thanksgiving week for us here in the US.

I chose CF Lavender cream and Atkinsons Lavender cologne. Tonight's shower will have EO Lavender shower gel and shampoo. Post-shower is WoW lavender talc, CF Lavender balm for moisturizer and EO lavender body lotion.

Charlie, were you successful in lathering up that C-M 1752 cream?

Austin, you had most of my favorites this morning! Cz&Sp 88, patchouli and cucumber! I see you are using your Penhaligon leather basket for cologne storage like I am. Great freebie from that Castile package!

Richard in Canada, the turkey was done to perfection in 5 1/2 hours smoked over plum wood, mopped with butter and stuffed with apples. After the supper (just me and the wife), I deboned the rest of the bird and wound up with more than half (5 lbs) left!

Cheers,
Richard in Texas

Richard, I am actually using the basket for my hair dressings. They include T&H and Trumpers. They all fit quite nicely.

Friday:

Gillette '58 TV Superspeed / Gillette "Swede"
Caswell-Massey Almond Shave Cream
Caswell-Massey Number Six Aftershave Balm
Caswell-Massey Number Six Cologne
Caswell-Massey Number Six Deodorant

A disastrous start, but a good finish. I decided to try lathering the C-M cream on my face. I found an old boar brush lying around, and thought that the stiffness might make a difference. Well, the adhesive in the old brush finally had given out. Within seconds, my face was covered in pig hair (not my own). I spent the next few minutes wiping bristles from my face and the sink. After switching to my regular badger, things went smoothly. Love the No. 6.

Friday:

Penhaligon Blenheim cream
Plisson HMW #16
'60s Gillette Slim adj
Coral

Guerlain Habit Rouge

Lathered up on the "face". The Plisson isn't as good with this cream as the Rooney Finest. Plenty of lather but a bit "scrubby". If I had to choose between those two brushen, I'd have a hard time of it...

John,

In your pic, your Gillette is adjusted to 7. Very amusing! You just cranked it up so high for the photo, just to shock us, right?
