President with Sweetbay Korean
T&H Luxury soap
Sabini white
Proraso ASB
T&H Spanish Leather (old formula)

Second day with the Korean. Still a great shave, but either I was too eager, or the blade wears quickly, or indeed the blade needs a more protective cream lather, because I felt the blade today. Nothing serious, but I definitely felt it for about 30 minutes after the shave.

Wednesday night:

TKNO-FAW
Hot towel over Infusium conditioner
Glycerine soap would not lather with my Made-Rite. I don't know what the trouble was, but I slapped it on my face and after a moment or two it was all gone! The bubbles broke and I had a little bit of soap scum and nothing else. Relathered with Proraso cream.
'61 FatBoy with US Personna (third shave) - 3 passes + T&C
Hot rinse, cold rinse, Witch Hazel, CHL

I'm getting close to BBS on my cheeks and jaw now, but I'm despairing of ever getting good results on my neck. No matter how much reduction I do, an against-the-grain is just too painful down there. Maybe once my blade sampler arrives I'll get better results with one of them.

I'm beginning to think that this Made-Rite brush is just too floppy for me.

Thursday:

Vulfix 2233
T&H West Indian Limes shaving cream
1962 Gillette slim adjustable
Gillette blade (made in USA)
Witch hazel
a|MEN|ity After Shave & Moisturizer

The aftershave was a sample from Graham at Momentum, and it did feel nice on my face. Nice and thick, but it soaked in quickly and felt warm and moisturizing.
