Second day with the Korean. Still a great shave, but either I was too eager, or the blade wears quickly, or indeed the blade needs a more protective cream lather, because I felt the blade today. Nothing serious, but I definitely felt it for about 30 minutes after the shave.

Glycerine soap would not lather with my Made-Rite. I don't know what the trouble was, but I slapped it on my face and after a moment or two it was all gone! The bubbles broke and I had a little bit of soap scum and nothing else. Relathered with Proraso cream.

Hot rinse, cold rinse, Witch Hazel, CHL
I'm getting close to BBS on my cheeks and jaw now, but I'm despairing of ever getting good results on my neck. No matter how much reduction I do, an against-the-grain is just too painful down there. Maybe once my blade sampler arrives I'll get better results with one of them.
I'm beginning to think that this Made-Rite brush is just too floppy for me.

Hello All,
Today was a vetiver day in Texas. So it was Salter's French Vetiver, followed up with L'O Vetyver. Some L'O vetyver shower/shampoo gel and talc and lotion for the evening shower.
