First shave with soap. It went rather well, although the Nomad soap loves water. I need more practice to get it perfect.

Friday:

Vulfix 2233
Kappus Aloe Vera shaving cream
Merkur HD
Derby blade
Pinaud Clubman AS

I gave in to temptation and bought the mysterious Kappus cream yesterday. A nice close shave, but I had a couple of tiny nicks.

*snort* Man, I love shaving jargon!

FWIW, I used a Murkur HD w/Feather blade, SMF III brush, and C&E Sweet Alond cream again today. And again, a very nice shave.

Saturday:

Vulfix 2233
C&E Sweet Almond Oil cream
Merkur HD
Derby blade
Pinaud Clubman AS

The sweet almond oil scent is really growing on me. It lingers so nicely, and is especially nice in combination with the Clubman scent.

Thank you Richard! It started off black and white, then sepia, then an interesting mix as I played with some settings!

What a combo though! Yardley shave soap is simply amazing (and over 20 years old!), Floris 89, TGR Balm, Kent T8, and the Torrey straight razor. All superlative. What a great shave!
