A weird combination perhaps, the Almond and CHL, but my face felt great. I even did a third pass today (with no irritattion!), an indulgence that time pressures -- which is to say, "kids who need to pee" -- usually rule out on non-vacation days.

This is the first time I tried using cream right on my face (instead of mixing it up in a mug). It worked tolerably well. I thought I'd shaken out a lot of water from the bristles but when I lifted up the brush to start working the cream into a lather, there was water all over my face. Man, this brush is like a bucket!
Off to a friend's house for an early, children-included NYE dinner. They put in the order for Chinese take out on, yes, FRIDAY. Yikes.

This morning's shave finished off the tub of Nancy Boy that I got when I first started wet-shaving last July. My guesstimate is that, between trying other creams and soaps and more than a few "practice runs" with the NB
, I got about 160-170 shaves out of that tub. I'm satisfied....
