A great shave today, BBS and no irritation.
Gillette Slim adjustable, Feather blade (on day 4 or 5...)
New Tryphon Medici soap
After ASB
Pino Blue cologne
Smooth and very soothing shave. Slick, thick lather and, even though I am biased, I must say I have found my ideal citrus soap. Lubrication is second to none.
Two passes and a BBS shave!

Feather AC with new Super Professional blade
Sabrooney finest
Wool Fat
Trumper's Limes skin food
T&H Spanish Leather

Well, I can definitely feel that this was a new blade today. I did some adventurous stuff and got closer than ever. A little irritation and redness for 30 minutes or so after the shave around my adam's apple, but nothing too nasty. Except...I managed to nick myself after I'd finished shaving! After the last stroke of cleaning up my chin, I apparently lost concentration as I moved the blade away from my face, and got a decent nick. Live and learn  .

Gillette Superspeed
personna's
palmolive shave cream
omega boar

witchhazel
aqua velva
gillette asb

This was my second DE shave, and already I felt comfortable using it, letting the weight of the razor do the work is a lot more comfortable than try to use my atra and avoid nicks and razor burn. I had a really good shave with the DE, not bbs, as I'm not doing atg passes, but pretty damn close, but that wasn't what I was shooting for. I didn't get a single nick, and when I put on the aqua velva I wondered, "wheres my alcohol burn???" and then I realized the alcohol burn happened more in places where I used to overshave. I know personna's are the only blade I've tried, but so far they work and feel about 10 times better than the target atra blades I was using, and at only 15 cents a piece.

Hello Pardners,

It is very cold here in north Texas with that front that swept in from the west.

This is going to be Texas One-Step Shave Week all week.

Just PSO, water and a DE. One pass. I'll choose a different barbershop fragrance everyday.

Cheers,
Richard in Texas

Today I mixed the classic German scent of Tabac soap with the classic American (English?) scent of Old Spice aftershave. A very nice shave.

Richard, Actually Tabac is a sort of German interrprutation of the Old Spice, an American classic, that became well known there post WWII.

First shave with an injector. Very nice! I like the way it handles, and I seem to get better feedback than with my FatBoy. I expect to learn a lot this week!
