Coate's Almond shave cream
D R Harris's Pink A/S

Ahh, Gordon. I see you are referring to them as Personna blades now, not Wilkinson's. I was right all along. 8)

BTW, I still doubt that they are made in England. Maybe the package is, but the blades aren't.

Such a harsh term. I prefer recreational tracking.

Jim, please. Wool Fat and No. 89? I'm sitting here at work and I shave after work. You're killing me, two of the most luxurious products I own.

CF Pre-Shave
Wool Fat
Feather AC
Tulip2
Proraso

I doubt I’ll ever finish those Proraso products as they keep me away from what I really love.

Friday:
Gold/Butterscotch Injector E3 (First shave with injector I loved it!)
CVS Injector blades (Personna?)
SMF III Brush
Palmolive Lather (First time with this too! I like that its green...it is supposed to be green, right?)
Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel
Coral Skin Food
Eucris Eau de Toilette

Overall great shave. That Injector mows down everything. It won't replace my Gillettes, but I will add it to the rotation happily! (Most likely when time is a premium.)

Chilly Friday morning:
- Colgate toothpaste (green in a green-and-white tube)
- Irish Spring soap (green and a green box)
- Pert shampoo (green, in a green bottle)
- Merkur HD w/Feather blade
- SMF II brush
- Proraso shaving cream (in a green-and-white tube)
- G.F. Trumper Limes Skin Food

It was 1 degree F this morning when I arose, so I decided to celebrate spring by going with as all-green a line-up as I could. Heck, I even lathered in a green mug! (Regrettably, my towel was blue, or I would have been pretty much 100% green today.)

Friday:

My Birthday shave....

Gillette 40's Super Speed w/Feather blade
Simpson PJ1 in Best
D.R. Harris Lavender soap
QED Lavender H2O
TendSkin for problem area on right cheek
German Pitralon a/s splash
Em's Place Lavender Moisture balm (18 degrees here in Pittsburgh today)

Trumper's Ice EDT (a decant I purchased from Fisherc a long while back- very nice stuff).

Very nice shave. Not as close as I'd like in some spots but still very good.

Have a great day.

A very happy birthday to you, Patrick! Going anyplace special to celebrate? Perhaps to Tessaro's for a 96-ounce hamburger?

Is it just me, or has anyone else noted that my esteemed colleague from Bolton, Ontario - SMF's official "shaving paparazzo", has been getting a little more competition in the high quality photo department?

Very nice photos in here lately. =D>

Richard, The Tesco blades are made in England beyond a doubt. That facility that I provided the address for in that other thread IS a blade making facility. I know someone who actually ordered a custom lot of injector blades from them. They go to Tesco via some weird channel that seems to involve Wilkinson, but yes, that is a Personna plant, and according to Shawn, whose law firm represents ASR in some matters, it is actually owned by ASR, which I didn't know, as a plant in the UK is not mentioned on their website. However, the British Personna site does provide a link to ASR. In that plant they make only store branded blades and industrial blades, not 'Personna' branded ones. Okay?
Regards,
Gordon
