Wendsday

40s Superspeed w/Feather
C&E Sweet Almond Oil cream
Vulfix pure bristle
Alum
Musgo Real ASB
Coral skinfood
Eucris EDT

First time using the Musgo ASB. It's very nice, but a little too thick. I guess I can water it down.

Tim, how is the Kanwa ASB? It seems like a great deal.

I really like it. It's not super moisturizing, but it does the job and it doesn't feel sticky afterwards. Richard (rustyblade) didn't find it to be moisturizing enough for the Canadian climate, but I find that it does me just fine. Actually, the bottle I have was originally in his possession.

It is a really great deal. It doesn't have much of a scent, so if you are looking for something with a lasting scent you might want to try something else. Then again, if you want something that isn't going to clash with your EDT then you might like it.

This is my go-to aftershave for cold, dry days. Other days I like the scent of the Pinaud Clubman. Today I used them both.

Thursday:

Vulfix 2233
C&E Sweet Almond Oil cream
'58 Gillette Super Speed
Derby blade
Pinaud Clubman AS
Sharp's Kid Glove ASB

I got my new razors yesterday! There's three Super Speeds: '53, '58, and '73. The '58 cleaned up really well, the '53 is okay except for under the head. I didn't look too much at the '73 yet, but I think it will be fine.

I was too aggressive with my shave this morning, so I have a bit of redness.

Thursday -- where did the week go?

- Merkur HD w/Feather blade
- C&E Almond cream
- SMF III brush
- Corn Huskers Lotion

Temperatures will be dropping to 4 F tonight, so it will be Corn Huskers Lotion for me for a few days!

Say, has anyone tried Bag Balm (on their face or their hands)? I saw it at the same CVS where I got my bottle of CHL and was curious.

Steve - if you check in again at the SOTD desk - how's the AdP balm? So far, loving the scent and all, I've gathered to myself the cream and the EDC. The balm seems like the next logical step...

Merkur Long with Israeli
SMFIII
T&H Trafalgar
Lucky Tiger Toner Balm etc.
Trumper's Marlborough EDC

Of all the creams and soaps I have, the T&H Trafalgar scent seems to linger the longest. This is a good thing, what with me liking it and all.
