Wednesday:

Merkur Progress w/ Feather blade
Bic Metal
Simpson PJ1 in Best
Proraso soap (green)
Jojoba oil (for final pass)
Proraso aftershave

Creed GIT edt

I am not a fan of Proraso but I do enjoy the clean scent. I have never got a first rate shave with the soap or cream. I do like to use the liquid aftershave.

Have a great day.

Tuesday SOTN:

E-type Injector with Shick blade, second shave
Palmolive lathered with C&E Best

The E is a whole lot more agressive than the L I've used in the past. I really need to take my time and watch the angle. This was my first shave with Palmolive, and I was nonplussed. I think I need to add water.

My SOTD photo is what we call in French a foutage de gueule. I forgot to disable the slow sync, hence the blur, and the manual WB, hence the blue cast. I could have taken another neat photo, but naaah, I’m lazy.

Thursday (International Shave Day) (cross post)

Gillette 1958 TV Special Super Speed
Feather blade
Omega boar brush
Caswell-Massey 1752 Verbena Shave Soap
Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet Aftershave Balm

No SMFIII brush for me. I'm so ashamed. The TV razor and the Feather blade are a good combination, though, and delivered an excellent shave. My experiment a week or so ago with the C-M soap paid off, as I am now able to get a decent lather out of it. It's no Wool Fat, but it provided a very slick lather that worked well with the Feather.

Nice choice for ISD, gents. Thanks.

Wednesday night:

E-type Injector with Shick blade - day 3
Proraso "soap" lathered with C&E Best

My ISD will be tonight. I'm planning to inaugurate my '52 Superspeed and use Arko shave stick as my soap, since it's the only tallowate I've got.
