Playing with a point-and-shoot these past few days convinced me to not buy one…
– George Trumper Limes soap. I have no idea what the old formula was worth, but that soap performs remarkably well.
– Simpson Tulip2 Super
– Feather AC
– Penhaligon’s Endymion ASB. Cruel product for oily skin. Divine scent but way too heavy.
Penultimate iteration of my kitch series:

SMF III
T&H Soap
Lucky Tiger Toner
T&H Spanish Leather
The old NWC injector clone works well when I'm in a hurry, or travelling. I don't see too many references to them any more though.

Shaves of the Weeks:
For the last month, I've been working in a different job area without regular access to SMF or most other websites. Now I'm back at reference. Here's a catch-up post.
SOTD 1/21:
In the interest of getting away from "shave porn" and back to real photos, here's my sink after my shave a week ago Sunday night. I used my wife's great-granddad's gold Tech HD, an Israeli blade, and SCS soap (I believe it was Bay Rum with a Twist that night). The brush is my C&E Best.
SOTD 1/22:
A closer shot of Monday night's shave. Same razor and blade as Sunday, but using the Tweezerman and Arko shave stick (pressed into a plastic bowl).
SOTD 1/27:
I honestly can't remember how many times I shaved between last Monday and the weekend. It was a very busy week. All I can say for sure is that I didn't shoot photos of any of them! This is my first travel shave, shot at my parents' house in Springfield, MO. Note the prescription-bottle brush holder for my C&E Best. It worked brilliantly! I used my dad's M-style injector and Arko soap.
I had to use an odd collection of containers for my travel shave stuff. The brown bottle in the lower right contains witch hazel, and the nasal spray bottle has Florida Water. Better label that so nobody tries to use it in their nose. Youch!
The bowl in the background is a mystery. My mom bought it for my dad many years ago, and she can't remember any more where she got it, but it does contain shaving soap.
Also on my dad's vanity:
This ceramic shave stand was my grandfather's. He was a barber for many years.
Finally - SOTD 1/29 (today):
Back home with Arko, a Franken-Tech (wanted to see what a ball-handle Tech would feel like, but just screwed the handle into the gold HD rather than messing with the blade) and my own sink once again.

Couldn't tell you. It came with the house, which was built in the '60s, but I don't know if it was remodeled since.cigar-&-Shave wrote:Karl,
That’s a great looking sink! I like the way the tiles go around the basin and the water valve handles are so old timey – I have sink envy!
Is that an old sink, or a neoclassic?
