Clive, it decided to be kind to me for this first shave. I paint-brushed it against my sweatshirt before starting, and it let go quite a few bristles, but none at all once it touched cream. It's the biggest brush I've ever used (I got lather in both ears), and I really liked the scritchiness of the pure badger.

All this, and a very cool package, too!

SUCCESS!

CF Pre-Shave
Simpson T2 Super
Floris JF cream/soap Hybrid
Feather AC / Pro blade
C&E Nomad ASB

I should have waited a bit more for the cream to dry out, but it worked like a charm. I did not lather the cream/soap in the Tupperware, so the picture is a bit misleading. I easily saturated the brush with soap and build a thick lather on face, with results on par with any of my quality soap.

baxter scrub
SR208I
kent shave soap
merkur HD w/derby
mam bear asm - lime
john bull pot-pourri toilet water

horrible shave this AM full of nicks & razor burn. i am certain it is caused by my first time use of the kent soap & not geting the water to soap ratio correct.

Superbowl Sunday

Shave of the day:
Vulfix 2233
Taylor Rose shaving cream
'58 Super Speed
Feather blade
Sharps Kid Glove after shave

The winter air has been really drying out my skin, so I double-dosed on the after shave. My skin still sucked it in like nobody's business.

Snacks of the day:
Pizza
Barbecued chicken wings
Doritos
Ruffles

Oh, yeah, go Colts!

Thanks Glenn, the extra glycerin soap really boosts the under-performing creams like C&E Sandal and Tabac, so I can enjoy their scent and get a good shave at the same time.

Excellent stuff, a bit heavier than Harris Milk, very soothing. I'm not sure if I would buy it again at that price though (it was very expensive to get it up here).
