Wednesday:

T&H Luxury Soap
Omega bristle brush
Merkur HD w/ Feather blade
T&C with Feather-loaded Dovo Shavette
Nivea Cooling ASB
Dominica Bay Rum

----------------------------------------------------

I always get excellent shaves with the T&H soap. As big as I am on tallow soaps, I have to say this one hangs in there with the best of them and is remarkably consistent and easy to work with.

I was sad to see my Feather AC go when I sold it a couple months ago, but I was using it only for final spot touchup, which seemed a waste. The Dovo Shavette with a Feather blade (DE blade snapped in half) is going to do the job very well at a more reasonable price. (Bought from www.classicshaving.com. I also got the green adapter that allows me to use the Fromm single-edge razor blades, which are nice and rigid.)

The Dominica Bay Rum is a sample from ClassicShaving and is quite nice. It's subtle, clean and fresh. The straight version has just bay oil and alcohol, with no spices -- so if you like it simple, this is a good one.

Doug

It sort of throws the tallow theory out the window, doesn't it? Good soap.

Gillette HD Rocket/Swede
SMFIII
Trumper's Limes Cream
Trumper's Limes Skin Food
Trumper's Marlborough EDC

The HD rocket and the Swede are a superb combination. I feel the head of the razor on my skin, and hear the stubble as it disappears - no pulling, no discomfort, and not even the chance of drawing blood.

And of course the Duke of Marlborough is also the Earl of Sunderland, and Sunderland just completed an unbeaten month for February, and look set to squeeze back into the EPL. Hopefully, back to be in the EPL like in the 90's, not like the last few seasons.

Bruno, I've noticed you gave up on the Artist Club?
Richard, that thing is scary. I manage the WTG pass but against, forget it.
I guess I have to try it more often, but I can't seem to get it to cut closer without actually putting more pressure. But then I'll be asking for trouble. It pulls on the stubble against the grain, I guess my beard is too tough for it.
I'm going to try and dedicate more time to it, hopefully I can figure it out.

Steve, I think the line is; "I'm here, Huckleberry" ( that is , in place of Earp, who Ringo was expecting and hoping for ). " I got no quarrel with you, Holiday"....."Oh, I beg to differ, sir..."
