I have used this set up a couple of times now...I must say it is becoming one of my favorite 'clean' feeling shaves. Not BBS yet, but very comfortable.

Sometimes you just have to put away the badger and give him the day off.

Sundays' shave

a loooong soak with the hot water and towel (cuz I didn't shave Saturday!)
a liberal application of the Proraso Pre E Doppo creme
using the SMF III brush (thankyou, you know who you are )
Old Spice soap (almost gone again now)
the Moss Scuttle Mk II to keep the precious lather very warm!
Joseph Allen and sons XXL 5/8" str8 razor
3 passes with a 4th to 'touch up'
hot and cold water rinse
Lubriderm moisturiser
and some SCS New Spice cologne (also as A/S)
