No not this one!
The invasion that seems to be going on with the British made Gillettes lately. The Rocket seems to be the Razor of the month. Quite a few have found new homes so let's let them be seen!

Just a themed shave. Nothing required or manditory. Everyone using a similar setup and maybe trying something they wouldn't usually think of or pull out of the display case except for special occasions. I personally have gotten to try a few of the exotic blades and some of Sue's stuff that I would never have really thought about if it weren't for ISD. Perhaps the theme isn't to your liking this month. PM me or post some suggestions about what you would like to see. This month is a direct idea from Tim(nodaktim) probably should have posted that in the inital announcement.JackieMartling wrote:Maybe I'm just PMSing early this month, but can someone please explain to me the appeal of having an ISD? Nathan, didn't you get upset about this very subject last year?JackieMartling wrote:Maybe I'm just PMSing early this month, but can someone please explain to me the appeal of having an ISD? I just don't get it.

I admit, it is kind of goofy (just like SOTD), but it creates some sort of camaraderie. It's all in good fun.
We missed your curmudgeonly ways, welcome back.
Richard
Come to think of it, Richard, yeah, I did. And you know what? I still don't get it. I didn't get the Harmonic Convergence when it happened, either, and to me, ISD seems like the Harmonic Convergence of shaving - one day where all guys use the same products in the hopes of producing a global awakening of peace and love in the shaving community. But that's just me. I realized after I made the above post that I had accidentally clicked on the SOTD forum, which I typically avoid like the plague. So really, I guess I had it coming.

StGeorge's Royal Shaving water...
What a great idea ...I'm surprised nobody else has come out with that yet. I have actually heard of people using bottled water to shave with due to water quality issues.
