Hump Day:

Vulfix 2233
Weleda shaving cream
'58 Super Speed
Derby blade (#4)
Thayer's Original witch hazel
St. Charles Shave Aged Leather ASM

Today's shave was pretty good, but the jury's still out on the Weleda shaving cream that I bought from Rob (thanks again!). When I opened the tube, I thought it had a nice floral scent, but when I brushed it on it reminded me of the smell of fresh cut dandelions. I didn't find the right water ratio either, so the lather wasn't great. I'll give it another try or two before I can confirm anything. On the up side, my face feels good!

Merkur Long handle/Israeli
Sabrooni finest
De Vergulde Hand stick scheerstaff thing
Lucky Tiger AS/Toner
Trumper Marlborough

Yesterday's two pass shave was initially pretty good, but not as long lasting as my usual three pass. I went back to the three pass today. I'm sure everyone's relieved.

1970s Schick Injector

Schick injector blades

Badger brush

Erasmic shave stick

First shave with this razor + blade combination, and also I've only used an Injector a few other times. So far I prefer a DE shave!!

Using the Rooney Finest for the first time in a little while reminded me of why I head over heels fell in love with it in the first place. As another member mentioned, when used in painting motions it is very soft. Scrub it in circular motions and you get a very pleasant and firm "scrubbing" action. It is the best of both worlds.

Same goes for the Feather AC. After using a DE for a week or so, it began to feel a little dull and had no feedback or life to it. The Feather made me feel one on one in the war against stubble.

Everything came together for a perfect Wool Fat shave.

Thursday,

SMF III
Coates Rose
Merkur LHC w/ Swede
TGR A/S Balm
C-M Number Six

Two of the last three tubs of Coates that I've bought (Rose and Lavender) are some of the most difficult-to-lather creams I've run across. A bit of a pain but when you finally figure it out you are thusly rewarded. They are a little bit like Wool Fat in that regard.
