Hey Gordon-

How was the longevity of the Yardley? I'm curious if it hangs in there after oh so many years!

Reg, Not quite as long as when it was new, I'm sure. But it still lingered some...and it's an aftershave, remember, not a cologne. Amazing that it's kept as well as it has for as long as it has. It's quite clear that my beloved Black Label was nothing more then a tweeking of this scent. Don't know for a fact, but it wouldn't surprise me if Sinatra continued to use the Black Label ( or the similiar white label stuff ) until it too disappeared.
Regards,
Gordon

B&B 2006 Razor
Feather Blade (still nicked my adams apple area :( )
B&B 2006 Finest Brush
Taylor's Rose Shaving Cream (why is it a violet colour !?)
Penhaligon's Endymion EdT :)

I just ordered 100 Feathers off Rene to share with a DE converted work colleague ...maybe I should let him have them all and I'll stick to more forgiving blades...

SOTD Rating 9.25/10 ...The great Rose SC lather saved me from that Feather, well almost...

T.G.I.F. \:D/:

Vulfix 2233
Mitchell's Wool Fat shaving soap
'58 Super Speed
Derby blade (#3)
Thayer's Original witch hazel
Pinaud Clubman AS

The shaving gods were smiling on me this morning. There was at least one time where I could swear that blood would be drawn, but all was well. My face feels nice and smooth.

Fantastic! =D>

Friday

Razor: Gillette Tech
Blade: Derby
Brush: Col Conk #850
Soap/Cream: Proraso Green
A/S--Musgo Real A/S Balsam

I haven't used my Gillette Tech in some time and decided to use it today. I forgot what a great simple razor this is. While a very mild razor it still gives a great shave. Two thumbs up for this 'Plain Jane' razor.

Merkur Long/Tesco
Sabrooney Finest
Acqua di Parma "cream"
Lucky Tiger As/Toner
Acqua di Parma Colonia

Every now and then I break out the A di P "cream", and it always impresses me. Today I decided thats it's only double the price it should be, not triple.
