The first pass was ...well ouch !! ...the Panda blades bite for sure. Don't think I'll be loading up one of these animals again in a hurry. Not to be beaten I did a careful 4 passes and still didn't get a close shave...
SOTD Rating 7/10 ...a challenging shave...

First ever shave with cream today:
Merkur Futur with Boots/Tesco
Floris Elite Shaving Creme
Floris Naturals Soothing Skin Balm
REN Multi-Tasking ASB
4 passes. 2 WTG, 2 XTG. OMFG incredible. This was my first time using shaving creme...that Floris stuff is mad! An incredible lather in seconds and it was fantastic. I felt it was a much more lubricating than the Mitchells Wool Fat (and I didn't have to worry about water content (I nearly always get the razor bumping across the skin with the mitchells)).
Only downsides:
Elite isn't the nicest Floris scent. I prefer No.89 and Cefiro (why don't you make them in shaving cremes Floris!!!)
The Soothing Skin Balm smelt like aniseed which I hate and wasn't very good. That's why I felt I had to use the REN too.
Boots blades on the other hand...fantastic! Beats Merkur hands down.

Hump Day:
Vulfix 2233
Mitchell's Wool Fat shaving soap
'58 Super Speed
Tesco blade (#3)
Thayer's Original witch hazel
Pinaud Clubman AS
Superb. I biked into work again this morning, and it was quite a bit colder than yesterday (it's 3C right now). Still, my face feels great, and definitely moisturized.

I see you used the same set up I did yesterday, but added the "Carlos Santana col-log-nee" and used the Delong Silvertip instead...jslfl wrote:Wednesday-

Rooney 3 Small Finest
Rocket HD w/Tesco
Coate's Rose-Sandalwood Cream*
Thayer's Rose WH
TGR ASB
Chanel Egoiste Pour Homme
What's this Coate's Rose-Sandalwood Cream you are asking? Well, I have my Sandalwood cream in tubes, and my current one's lid broke, so I decanted it into another container. My pot of Rose was dehydrated, so after using it as a soap I decided to rehydrate it. However, it never reached the desired consistency, and has remained a semi-hardened mess. So last night I deceded to mix some of the Rose into the Sandalwood, and voila! It's about 60% Sandalwood and 40% Rose, and it is 100% fantastic. Anyone else combined creams like this?
