A shovel sharpened on a concrete floor is a formidable shaver...almost as sharp as a Feather. I only got one nick which I sealed with Tuck Tape. Fluid Film is advertised as a "Superior Lubricant" which it is that. I couldn't get it to lather with the corn broom, but that didn't stop me from using it to spread it around. No aftershave, the Fluild Film contains lanolin (I think) which left my face hydrated.

Sunday
SR Ebony Silvertip 3824
T&H Luxury Soap
B&B Horn Razor with 7'o Clock Gillette
Harris Pink
Harris Milk ( New)
Floris Sandalwood EDT
Luxury Shave. Love the smell of the T&H Soap. I am really liking the 7AM blades, bettes than Derby. WIll have to get some more. I have mixed in the Davinci Water in the New Harris Milk , so it is a little more Milky. Seems to work very well.
Edit: Had another Look.. I am using Gillette 7'o Clock not 7AM Blades

Actually, I chose this one because there isn't much serration compared to the more popular slicer. Plus, the filet knife is more flexible. In the infomercial they use it to filet the skin off of a tomato.rustyblade wrote:How do you find the serrations? Do they help, sort of a lift and cut, perhaps?

Sunday Night:
Classic Shaving Lime soap
Proraso/Omega boar brush
Gillette Thick-Handled Tech
Dorco blade (3rd shave)
QED Lime Shave Stick, applied without lathering, to touch up.
Thayer's Original Witch Hazel.
With 6 badger brushes, two of which are fairly new, I haven't used the boar brush for awhile. I was reminded tonight of just what a good brush this is. In truth, I could do very nicely with this brush alone.
I have several other Gillettes which I have yet to try (old-style SS and several adjustables), but I can't seem to pull myself away from the Tech!
