*sigh* ](*,)

Airport lost my luggage and since you can't bring a DE razor aboard an airplane I was without my dopp kit when I staggered into my hotel at 3 AM off of Piccadilly (disappointed too, I've never had any trouble with Heathrow before).

Holmes, Bad berries. On the other hand, since you're obviously in London, what a golden opportunity to acquire a whole new kit! ( yeah, I'm afraid that shavegeeks really do think this way...sigh ).

Tim, I dunno...it didn't seem to be catching on.

As soon as I emerge from my comatose state in 5 hours or so, my plan is to stagger over to the Starbucks on Curzon St. (I have a Rancilio Silvia at home and love quality espresso as much as the next person, but I want something fast tomorrow morning) and then head off to meetings.

But definitely considering popping over to Jermyn Street and checking out Taylor's.

Friday's Shave

Post by nteeman »

Friday

Razor: Gillette Aristocrat/Rocket (UK)
Blade: Dorco/Derby Extra (corked)
Brush: Col Conk #850
Soap/Cream: Proraso (red)
A/S--Musgo Real A/S Balsam

 :D :D

I've been alternating using my Aristocrat w/Dorco blade with my Rocket w/Derby blade since last Saturday. While it was to be the 4th shave with the Dorco blade today, it seemed rough during my first pass so I retired the blade and used my Rocket w/Derby Extra for pass 2 & 3. This was also my 4th shave with the Derby--no problem, plenty of blade left. :D

Friday:

Vulfix 2233 Super
Trumpers Coconut Oil Shaving Cream
Gillette 1954/HD/500 Rocket w/ Tesco blade
Trumpers Coral Skin Food

While I'm no huge fan of the Coconut Oil scent, it really performed well for me on the first trial. As good as the best of my Trumpers creams.
