The soap is Floris Elite. If I had to limit myself to consumables from one house, Floris would be a good chioce.

Thursday (Second Day Among the Stars):

Vulfix 2233
C&E Sandalwood SC
'58 Super Speed
UK Wilkinson Sword blade (#2)
Thayer's Original witch hazel
C&E Sienna ASB

Good grief! Is it ever hard to get a good lather with this water. The shave was nice enough, but I was worried about the way the razor was skipping.

I bought it a few weeks ago with my defunct Feather 25. I had it professionally honed by Joe Chandler. It’s a cheap piece of carbon steel. It has nothing to do with the expensive, traditional Japanese straight razors forged by venerable blacksmiths whose techniques have only been transmitted to few “young” disciples who are actually already in their 50’.

However, it shaves.
