Thank you Gents for the welcoming into the fold.

You guys could have told me that my post was seriously flawed and needed proofreading...
I just read it and see a lot of grammatical errors, but I must have been to giddy at the time to notice. I posted that literally minutes after shaving. :D I am not going to bother trying to fix it now though, as it reflects my state of mind at the time.

It was never so easy to get my neck area smooth, before this. My other BBS days involved working more intensely on this area, especially on either side of the Adam's apple. It has been about 15-16 hours since I shaved and my face still feels rather smooth and soft. There is only a hint of stubble in a few small patches trying to surface.
timc wrote:Clive certainly did you a favour there...
Yes, he most certainly did. Thank you again Clive for really enhancing my shave. It is now on a whole new level. \:D/ :D

Saturday,

Vulfix 2235
TOB Eton College (mixed wet)
Merkur LHC w/ Swede (1)
DR Harris Pink A/S
Floris No.89 EdT

Haven't used a TOB cream in more than a year. Eton College was always my favorite of their scents (which is similar to T&H Grafton.) I expected the cushion to be somewhere in the vicinity of T&H which is to say, less than Trumper and a lot less than Coates. That was about right, although I did mix it up on the wet side to counteract that first-shave harshness that you often get from a new blade. Excellent results but I still put TOB in the same category as Salter, good but a notch below the big boys.

Saturday!

SMF III
Hoffritz Slant w/Swede
D.R. Harris Arlington Cream
Thayer's Rose
Coral Skin Food
Commes des Garcons Vettiveru Cologne

First time with the Arlington cream and it is a winner. Certainly on a par with Trumper's, and maybe even approaching Coate's. The Arlington scent really lingers boy.

Brett, Well, I agree; but the older Taylors was excellent....and it looks like Trumpers may be joining it in that second tier, unless we're wrong, or Trumper decides they made a big boo boo.
