Charlie is out and about, and kindly asked if I would set up this thread! So, on his behalf, let's see and/or hear about your ISD Shave today. Taylor of Old Bond Street Shaving Cream and your Ranger Tech!
Since I couldn't dig up my Ranger Tech, I substituted my English Tech.
Next!

Taylor shave soap is interesting and often forgotten about. I've had a bit of an on again, off again thing with it. Turns out that this soap requires more water and more to work it up with the brush (longer than Trumper even). I was making it too dry where other soaps would have no problems with the same mix. More water today and had plenty of thick lather with a lovely sheen and not a hint of it being to watery. I also used to have a little irritation using this soap and I blame the fact I was making it too strong with not enough water. All in all a good soap. Not as good as MWF, T&H, or Harris though.

Hey guys! I am back. Spent a week or so on vacation to Cocoa Beach and Disney. Here is the family pic:
Here was what I used on the Sunday ISD:
Hot Shower No Scrub
Tweezerman
Taylor of Old Bond Street Shave Shop Tube
Ranger Tech
Derby 1st Shave
3 Pass
Neutrogena Razor Defense ASB
While on vacation I had to use my travel kit. It is a hard soap container that doubles as a lather bowl. The Tweezerman does the job nicely for travel purposes. I got to use some of my favorite Shave Shop cream. I now have close to 4 tubes of the original old style to last me a while. If you order direct from Taylor's in the UK and ask for the old stock they will send it no problem. Hoard away!
