to think that this time last year i was using gillette foamy and a mach 3 and feeling like, "shaving is stupid. once a week is all i can handle because i have sensitive skin and a heavy beard!" i should note also that i used to go N-S then immediately S-N without even rinsing off let alone relathering! ouchers! my what a difference SMF makes!

Friday
Floris Elite shave cream
Merkur Vision with Super+ Platinum blade
Floris Elite aftershave balm
Floris Elite EdT
The Floris products were all samples I received from Floris after requesting a catalogue. The cream was very nice, a bit softer than Trumper's or Harris, but lathered well. The balm was a bit runny (though not nearly as thin as the older version of Harris Aftershave Milk). The fragrance was strong and I thought I detected a very slight burning sensation a few minutes after using it.

Thursday -
Hoffritz slant/Tesco
Rooney super 1/1 horn
GFT Sandalwood soap
Lucky Tiger Tonic
Another travel shave - I finally forced myself to do a two pass shave, mostly with and then mostly against the grain. Very good, close shave. Close enough to satisfy all but the geekiest of shavegeek types.
Friday -
Hoffritz slant/Tesco
Rooney 1/1 super horn
Tabac soap
Lucky Tiger Tonic
T&H Spanish Leather (old version)
Three pass shave - see above reference to geekiest of shavegeek types.
