Friday:

Gillette FatBoy w/new IP blade
Bic Metal
Plisson Black #10
Speick cream
Speick A/S splash

No EDT today

The Gillette razor continues to impress me with great shaves. I had never used the Speick products before but they are very nice.
The cream lathers very nicely (of course, the Plisson has little trouble making great lather).

Have a great day and weekend.

Razor: Merkur Futur
Blade: Swedish Gillette
Brush: Pure Badger
Cream: KMF Patchouli
A/S: witch hazel, rosewater, Baxter's AS balm

One day too many on this blade :( . Smooth shave, but some burn on the neck. Went for the cooling Baxter's balm for relief. Looking forward to Sunday's shave !

GEM Contour/Dog's Bollocks
Sabrooney finest 1/2
Trumper's Coconut soap
Lucky Tiger Tonic
Crusella's Lavanda

So there I was, heading to the shave, when all of a sudden I found myself reaching for a GEM razor, having not used one for months. A damn fine job it did, too.

The Erasmic stick just isn't doing it for me. Two mediocre shaves with it so far, I find the Palmolive shave stick to be superior.

Richard, My, you do seem to be getting into those shave sticks these days ( chuckle ). Interesting. I liked the Erasmic stick a little better then the Palmolive. But, shave-wise, I thought they were pretty similiar.

Richard, you're using it wrong.  I cut my Erasmic stick in half lengthwise and put both pieces in a plastic bowl. I now lather it directly like a real soap and the lather is way better.
I have the Palmolive but haven't tried it yet. Too many choices. :(

With a quality soap I can usually get the lather spot-on first time around. I haven't given up on it yet...I'm sure it is a good product, I just need a little practice with it (which bothers me).
